Border crossing rules for certain categories of citizens may change in near future – State Border Guard Service

So far, no changes have been made to the government resolution regulating the rules for crossing the border by Ukrainian citizens. However, changes are expected soon for certain categories of citizens.

Andrii Demchenko, Spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“It’s important to understand that at the moment no changes have been made to the government’s resolution No. 57 regulating the rules for crossing the state border by citizens of Ukraine. However, changes may be forthcoming to address issues arising from the legislation. There may be specific adjustments for certain categories, including the conditions for crossing the border. As to what they will be and when – we will provide further information once these changes are adopted and enacted,” Andrii Demchenko said.
