Black Sea situation update: enemy puts Admiral Makarov frigate on combat duty
The enemy put the Admiral Makarov ship on combat duty. This frigate can carry up to 8 Kalibr-type missiles, which means that the level of missile danger from the Black Sea has increased.
Natalia Humeniuk, Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“Currently, we can observe the frigate entering the Black Sea, the Admiral Makarov is returning to combat duty. This means that up to eight Kalibr missiles can be ready for use. But the ship stays close to Novorossiysk, to the roadstead near the port, where the weather is a little calmer, without those category 4 or 5 storms common in the open theater of naval operations in the Black Sea. This means that again the enemy is flexing their muscles, hinting at danger. And to all residents of Ukraine, I remind once again that this means an increased level of missile danger from the Black Sea,” Natalia Humeniuk said.
