Beginning of the heating season in the capital: Kyiv City State Administration announced when it will be warm in Kyiv residents’ homes
Decisions on heating of residential buildings in the capital will be made on the basis of weather conditions.
This was stated by Petro Panteleiev, deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“We are observing trends that show that the temperature will be lower at the end of October and the beginning of November, and that’s when we will decide on the start of the heating season. We cannot afford to waste gas. We need to ensure that the gas reserves we have will be enough for Kyiv and all of Ukraine when it gets very cold outside, especially in January and February. That way we can make the most of the gas reserves we have. For now, we can manage without using precious energy resources that are as valuable as gold,” Petro Panteleiev said.
