Presentation of the analytical report “The Destruction of Ukrainian Identity as a State Policy of the USSR and russia”

Why is this important?
In its new analytical report, the Media Initiative for Human Rights (MIHR) has compared cases from the Security Service of Ukraine archives with testimonies of contemporary prisoners. The document demonstrates the continuity of repressive practices and proves that russia’s actions constitute a systematic policy of an aggressor state.

The presentation will focus on the groups of Ukrainians who have been persecuted by russia for over a century; Soviet and modern methods of imposing a hostile ideology; how the repressive machine of torture and coercion works; and why all of this together constitutes a crime against humanity.
