Andriy Dubas: Ukrainian banks sees growth in individual and business deposits

Ukraine’s banking sector continues to show steady growth in deposits from both individuals and businesses, signaling a positive trend for the country’s economy.

Andriy Dubas, President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, highlighted this development during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“For 11 of the past 12 months, the liability side of the banking sector—specifically, household and business deposits—has been increasing every month. If we see that household deposits have grown in 11 of the last 12 months and corporate and business deposits have risen in 10 of those months, I believe this is a strong indicator of stability within the domestic banking system,” Dubas stated.
