An online navigator for those affected by shelling in Kyiv and the surrounding region is now live – STEP-BY-STEP

The platform is now publicly available. It can be used by those affected, heads of homeowners’ associations, city administrations, and emergency volunteers. Alona Krytsuk, director and co-founder of Smilyvi Vidnovlyuvaty, spoke about this during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.

“This is a story about how, starting from volunteering and the desire to help people, we are moving toward sustainable solutions and systemic changes in our country,” she noted.

The platform covers the entire process: from the first minutes after shelling to submitting a compensation claim through “eVidnovlennia.” What to do in the first 24 hours, how to temporarily seal broken windows and doors, how to obtain materials from the city’s reserve, and how to interact with volunteers on-site.

In addition to the website, the project has developed a practical guide on repairing windows and doors after shelling, a workbook for recording measurements of damaged apartments, posters for affected locations, and a video course for locksmiths and utility workers. The platform is available at the link – pokrokovo.in.ua
