All Ways Must Be Used to Prevent the Supply of Ballistic Missiles from Iran to russia — Oleksandr Merezhko, People’s Deputy

Ukraine must be proactive to prevent the supply of ballistic missiles from Iran to russia. Oleksandr Merezhko, Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation, made this statement during the briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“We must try to apply diplomatic, political and economic pressure in the form of sanctions. In other words, all possible means of influence on Iran’s way of behavior must be used to prevent this. And I hope that this will not happen,” Oleksandr Mereshko said.

According to him, Iran has already become an accomplice to russian crimes in Ukraine when it provided rf with suicide drones, which now attack our civilian population.

“We demand increased pressure on Iran. Although many sanctions have already been imposed before, there are still certain reserves that we can use and demand strengthening of these sanctions. Because the ultimate goal is total isolation of the aggressor. And to achieve it, we can use sanctions,” Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation explained.
