Airfields are always a target: Yurii Ihnat says what the enemy’s priority targets are

Airfields, critical infrastructure, industry objects and port infrastructure are all high priority targets for the enemy.

Yurii Ihnat, Spokesperson of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

At the same time, he noted that the airfields are always an important target for the enemy. And our pilots, he emphasized, are causing damage to the occupiers.

“You constantly see the results of the combat work of our pilots. This can be seen in the russian public pages, the occupiers themselves write about it. Therefore, it is no secret that the pilots fighting today, who are under constant and regular enemy fire, have appropriate failsafe mechanisms, which, let’s say, in such conditions are being used competently. And the actions of the military command lead to not only preserving the equipment and people’s lives, but also to inflicting painful blows on the occupier’s rear, their command and logistics. Today, it’s extremely important to hit the occupiers in the rear, meaning the occupied territories,” he noted.
