About 2 million tonnes of grain exported from Odesa ports within one month — Ukrainian Agrarian Council
In August, a total of 1.7 million tonnes of grain were shipped from Odesa ports. As of September 4, this figure has reached 2 million tonnes.
Denys Marchuk, Deputy Chair of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council made this statement at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“In addition, diversification is taking place in parallel with the work of sea ports. Alternative ways are also used. The number of exports by rail is increasing, about 1 million tonnes of grain was sent by rail. The Danube ports are also active, about 1.6 million tonnes of grain per month is shipped through them. About 600,000 tonnes of grain were sent by road,” — he said.
As of today, Ukraine exports its products to 19 countries of the world. In fact, it means that Ukraine will continue to fulfill its obligations as a reliable partner.
“The enemy is fighting not only on the battlefield, but also in the whole world by economic (means). But our partners know that there is logistics from Ukraine, our grain is of high quality and cheaper, so the world is actively fighting and rooting for Ukrainian products to come to their markets,” — Denys Marchuk added.
