A competition for young inventors based on the American “Invention Convention” model has launched in Ukraine

This competition has been held in the U.S. for about 43 years.

Varvara Skrypnyk, co-founder and deputy director of the Ukraine Invention Convention, announced this during a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center.

“This is a modern ecosystem for scientific research in Ukraine, achieved through the creation of a STEM education system, a network of regional and national competitions, and a platform for young Ukrainian scientists,” she said.

The program includes a training course covering market analysis, project pitching, and networking with scientists from around the world. A visit to the U.S. is a mandatory part of the course.
