89 private households remain flooded in Dnipropetrovsk region — Mykola Lukashuk

Kamianske and Dnipro districts of Dnipropetrovsk region were most affected by the floods.

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, Deputy Chair of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Defense Council made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“Today, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, 89 private households in the region remain flooded to a certain degree. Of them, a small number are in Dnipro and Obukhivka, and the majority of them, where emergency services are currently working, is in Kurylivka, Petrykivka community,” he said.

According to Mykola Lukashuk, the water level is generally decreasing at the moment.

“If we talk about the Kamianske reservoir, it (water level — Ed.) has decreased by 13 centimeters. If we talk about rivers, then water levels decreased by 1 to 10 centimeters in certain places.”
