“85% of Ukrainian businesses did not work in March 2022, at the end of the year — 26%; 2023 forecast is optimistic,” Andrii Dligach
The turnover of Ukrainian business in 2022 was 63% compared to 2021, there was a drop of 36%. Andrii Dligach, Head of Advanter Group, the Center for Economic Recover co-founder, spoke about the dynamics of this process during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“It was important for us to understand what the dynamics were. In March, 85% of businesses were almost shut down, but then in April this indicator fell to 55% and was decreasing. At the end of the year, only 26% of businesses remained unopened. Business showed a high speed of recovery. The forecast for 2023 is quite optimistic. 10% is the expected weighted average growth rate, which means approximately +2-3% percent to Ukrainian GDP,” — Dligach said.
