432 more children need to be evacuated from Kherson region

As of October 24, 353 children and their families have been evacuated from 23 settlements in Kherson Oblast since Ukrainian officials ordered mandatory civilian evacuation. Currently, the emergency measures are underway, as 432 more children need to be evacuated.

Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, Spokesman for the Kherson Oblast Military Administration made this report, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform. 

“There are still 432 children in these settlements. We keep on working, we carry on to work with the parents of these children, with the communities so that they intensify their efforts, we send videos, photos to show housing conditions where families with children who have left already live. Hopefully, we will be able to evacuate almost all of them within the next two weeks,” he said.
