318 Ukrainians killed by mine injuries since the outbreak of the all-out invasion – SES
Since the onset of russia’s full-scale invasion, 318 people in Ukraine have lost their lives to mine-related injuries, including 16 children. Another 765 citizens have been injured, 86 of whom are children.
These statistics were shared by Svitlana Vodolaha, Head of the Communications Department at Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, during a press conference held at Media Center Ukraine.
“Tragically, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 318 people, including 16 children, have been killed due to mine injuries. Additionally, 765 people have been injured, among them 86 children. This is why educating children about safety remains crucial. Sadly, I must say that this issue will continue to be relevant for more than a decade,” Vodolaha stated.
