3 people were killed and 13 wounded in a missile attack on Odesa on June 14
The enemy attacked the city with four Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea, two of them were shot down by air defense forces. This was reported by Nataliya Humenyuk, chief of the Joint Coordination Press Office of the Security and Defense Forces in the South of Ukraine, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine – Odesa.
“As a result of the air fight and the blast wave, a business center, an educational institution, a residential complex, catering establishments and shops in the city center were damaged. Preliminary, six people were injured with varying degrees of severity. The missile also hit a warehouse of a retail chain, killing three warehouse employees and injuring seven. All the victims were hospitalized and received medical aid,” – the officer said.
She added that, in her opinion, “this is how the headquarters, decision-making centers and logistics hubs of the defense forces look like to the enemy.”
As of 11:00 AM, the missile damage control operations are underway in the hit areas.
