160,000 people in Ukraine already registered as forcibly displaced persons – O. Shuliak
Olena Shuliak, Chair of the Sluha Narodu (Servant of the People) Party, informed during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center that since the beginning of a full-scale war, 160,000 people in Ukraine had already registered as forcibly displaced persons.
It is currently possible to register in Administrative Service Centers (TsNAPs). This service will soon also become available in the Diia portal. Everyone registered as a forcibly displaced person is entitled to government assistance of UAH 2,000 per month for an adult and UAH 3,000 for a child or a person with disabilities.
At the same time, those hosting migrants in their homes could also apply at prykhystok.gov.ua to receive compensation in the amount of UAH 450 per each hosted person. These funds could be used, inter alia, to pay for utilities.
More than 700,000 migrants are currently hosted by the locals in safer regions. In general, about 10 million of Ukrainians have fled their homes since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
