“147 Businesses from Active Fighting Areas Moved to Lviv Oblast,” Director of the Economic Policy Department of Lviv Oblast Military Administration
One hundred forty-seven businesses from Ukraine’s “hottest” regions moved to Lviv Oblast. Almost all of them have already launched their production facilities. These are mainly machine and instrument engineering, food, and light industries. Stepan Kuibida, Director of the Economic Policy Department of Lviv Oblast Military Administration, disclosed this fact during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
The Administration has already received 890 applications for relocation from businesses located all over Ukraine.
In addition, a program was initiated to support relocated businesses, with a total funding volume of UAH 50 million.
A company can get UAH 100,000 in Lviv Oblast as a development grant. The amount can be doubled if more than 20 new jobs are created.
The leadership of the Oblast also intends to help businesses market and sell their goods.
“We offered vouchers worth up to UAH 50,000 to support marketing activities of such businesses. We want them to be able to communicate with their existing or new markets and support their sales efficiently,” Kuibida added.
