1,500 participants in 10 days – the first results of the National Food Security Platform
Acting Head of State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) Anatolii Vovniuk told during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center that the first 10 days of work of the National Food Security platform resulted in 1,500 participants
To recall, the SSUFSCP developed the platform, with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. Dopomoga.Razom and Fozzy Group take part in supporting and promoting the platform.
The platform provides access to up-to-date information on the current needs and various products’ offers. This greatly simplifies market search options for products of domestic manufacturers and simplifies communication between buyers and suppliers without unnecessary intermediaries. The platform also offers ordering transportation services. The system helps the SSUFSCP specialists to prevent shortages of critical products and maintain their prices.
The SSUFSCP plans to attract all players of the food market to the system: from agricultural firms and food enterprises to retail sales points.
