Last year, cyber police arrested four criminals for online violence against children

Last year, cyber police apprehended four criminals as a result of investigations into cybercrime incidents involving violence against children.

Yevhenii Panchenko, Head of the Cyber Police Department, made this statement during a roundtable discussion at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Last year, four individuals involved in cases of pedophilia were detained and put on record. This is a large number, given the social significance of this crime. However, at the same time, we are reacting to (such offenses – Ed.) as much as possible and it’s not true that physical abuse is more important to us, the cyber police is (committed to providing – Ed.) one hundred percent protection in cyberspace,” said Yevhenii Panchenko.
