Winter weather: Forecaster predicts a drop in temperatures in early February
Ukraine is set to experience a temperature drop in the first days of February, with the coldest nights ahead.
Nataliia Ptukha, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, shared this forecast during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“As for the first ten days of February, we anticipate a decline in temperatures and a return to more winter-like conditions. Frosts are expected in the first days of the month, particularly at night, with lows ranging between -3°C and -8°C. This will affect most regions, though the south and southeast will be slightly warmer,” she said.
According to Ptukha, daytime highs could also dip below freezing, but overall, temperatures are expected to hover around 0°C.
