Viacheslav Chaus reports on restored roads and bridges in Chernihiv oblast

In Chernihiv region, 34 of the 38 bridges destroyed by the enemy have been restored. Several bridges have been completely overhauled, others – repaired temporarily, which allows the population to move freely. In addition, of the more than 1,100 kilometers of roads destroyed by the enemy, more than 700 kilometers have been restored.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.

“Today, I believe that the previous critical situation with the bridges is already done. We still have a lot of work ahead of us on complete overhaul of bridges, so that businesses could fully use them, and these bridges could bear the required load. Because the business now, unfortunately, still suffers from it. The population has logistics, but businesses do not, not everywhere,” he explained.
