Verkhovna Rada works on introduction of compulsory and additional leave for military personnel – Fedir Venislavskyi

After the opening of the 13th session of the Verkhovna Rada, a working meeting was held to discuss the introduction of compulsory and additional leave for military personnel.

This was announced by Fedir Venislavskyi, a member of the Ukrainian Parliament’s Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“In our committee, after the opening of the 13th session, we held a working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of Ukraine to discuss how to ensure that military personnel engaged in combat missions get the rest they need. Specifically, we are considering the introduction of mandatory leave and additional leave policies. This is something we are actively working on,” he said.
