Vacation in the Carpathians or Southern Ukraine: Weather forecast for early July

Ukrainians planning vacations in the Odesa oblast, Zakarpattia, or Prykarpattia can expect true summer weather with minimal rainfall and high temperatures. 

Nataliia Ptukha, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, shared this forecast during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine. 

“Starting next week, during the first days of July, these regions (the Southern regions, Transcarpathia, and Prykarpattia – ed.) will experience temperatures of +30°C or higher, with localized peaks up to +34°C. If temperatures rise further, we will issue warnings. Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia are regions where high temperatures are possible. Therefore, those who enjoy such weather can plan ahead, as next week will see minimal precipitation and calmer weather,” Ptukha noted.
