US Special Envoy reaffirms ongoing US support for Ukraine at Rome Conference

Special Presidential Envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg responded to a public appeal from the German Chancellor by reaffirming Washington’s continued commitment to Ukraine. Speaking at a conference in Rome, Kellogg assured European allies that the United States would remain steadfast in its support.

“A comment was made by German Chancellor Merz to Donald J. Trump, and he said it in my native language, which is English: ‘Stay with us and stay the course.’ Auf Deutsch: ‘Wir sind hier.’ – In German: ‘We are here,'” Kellogg said.

The Special Envoy also underscored the broader significance of Ukraine’s recovery, stressing that post-war reconstruction efforts will be critical not only for Ukraine but for the future stability and prosperity of all of Europe.
