Ukrenergo explained benefits of technical synchronization with European Union energy networks

CEO of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytskyi said during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform that, in addition to Ukrainian energy system having a powerful support of the European Union, Ukrainian consumers had a guaranteed energy supply, the balance of the energy system was ensured in full.

?«We have certain practical consequences of technical synchronization of networks with the energy networks of the European Union. We have already opened the possibility of exporting in some directions – now it is possible to export about 300 megawatts to Poland. We also export to Moldova. We are not only receiving export revenue, but we are also eliminating Moldova’s partial dependence on electricity from the russian power plant in Transnistria,» – he said.

Volodymyr Kudrytskyi explained that the Ukrainian company exporting to Moldova had demonstrated that the European transparent market system of exports is quite effective and allows Ukraine to earn money.
