Ukrainian World Congress urges Kyiv to grant multiple citizenship with allied nations

The Ukrainian World Congress says the right to multiple citizenship should be extended to citizens of allied countries as Ukraine finalizes the list of nations eligible under its new legislation.

Paul Grod, President of the Ukrainian World Congress, outlined the proposal during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine. 

“The first countries we proposed were Ukraine’s allies – the European Union, NATO members, and states that support Ukraine’s position,” Grod said.

The list of countries with which Ukraine will permit multiple citizenship remains under discussion.
