Ukrainian product exports up by 5-7% in last four months – Dmytro Solomchuk
Over the past four months, the export of Ukrainian agricultural products has increased by 5-7% compared to last year.
Dmytro Solomchuk, People’s Deputy of Ukraine, member of Verkhovna Rada’s Agrarian and Land Policy Committee, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.
“As of today, and within the last three or four spring and summer months, our exports have increased by 5-7% compared to last year’s season. And the export routes were mostly redirected through Odesa ports, because insurance from British companies works. More ships began coming in to pick up (the products – Ed.), and this reduced logistics cost for our farmers. That is, they can get much higher profits today than last year. Export through the western borders decreased compared to the beginning of the full-scale invasion,” Dmytro Solomchuk said.
