Ukraine to see heavy rainfall over weekend as new front moves in, says Hydrometeorological Center

Ukraine is set to experience heavy rainfall this weekend as a new atmospheric front sweeps in from the west. 

This was reported by Nataliia Ptukha, Spokesperson of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine. 

“A new atmospheric front is expected to arrive from the west on Friday, bringing rain across much of the country’s right bank on Saturday. It will then shift eastward, the left bank, causing substantial rainfall throughout the weekend. Even some southern regions, including Dnipropetrovsk, which have faced prolonged soil drought, should finally receive some much-needed moisture,” she stated.
