Ukraine suffers over USD 1.5 billion in losses from attacks on Greater Odesa ports, reports Denys Marchuk

Ukraine has incurred losses exceeding USD 1.5 billion this year due to hostile attacks on the ports of Greater Odesa.

That’s according to Denys Marchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Agrarian Council, speaking during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

Marchuk revealed, “If we consider the trends in Ukrainian export activities and the direct attacks on the ports of Greater Odesa since last August, the losses now surpass USD 1.5 billion. The attacks have severely impacted infrastructure, as well as raw materials like sunflower oil and other grains that were stored in the facilities at the time.”
