Ukraine sees rising demand for tourism services and increase in early international travel bookings – State Agency for Tourism Development

Ukraine’s tourism sector is currently experiencing positive growth trends.

This was announced by Natalia Tabaka, head of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“We are now seeing an increase in tax revenues from the sector. This is not only due to rising demand but also because of higher prices for tourism services. However, regarding outbound travel, during our latest meeting with tour operators, we noted a significant uptick in early bookings. This indicates more planned and organized travel,” Tabaka stated.

She added that demand for tour operators’ services and tourism products in general is also reviving within Ukraine.

“We are observing renewed interest in domestic tourism services and travel packages. While we can speak of positive momentum, we are still far from reaching desired levels,” Tabaka summarized.
