Ukraine’s NATO membership: MP calls for decisive actions ahead of key meeting

Fedir Venislavskyi, a Ukrainian lawmaker and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, has urged NATO to take more resolute steps toward inviting Ukraine to join the Alliance. His remarks come ahead of an emergency meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, scheduled for Tuesday.

The meeting is set against the backdrop of escalating tensions and ongoing international discussions on Ukraine’s security and NATO integration.

Speaking at a briefing at Media Center Ukraine, Venislavskyi expressed high expectations for the meeting. 

“I anticipate more decisive actions regarding Ukraine’s invitation to NATO. The message to the putin regime is clear: no form of terror or intimidation will deter the international community from supporting Ukraine,” he stated.
