Ukraine’s integration into the European market: Unified goods certification and roaming starting in January

The European Union is actively working to integrate Ukraine into the common economic space. Marta Kos, the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, highlighted this  during the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome.

“Many EU companies are already using Ukraine for manufacturing. Soon, operations for businesses will become even easier. We are working with Ukraine on alignment with EU technical standards and certifications. That will ensure safety and quality. This will make Ukraine part of European value chains.”

Marta Kos also noted that starting in January, Ukraine will join the roaming system to eliminate additional charges.
