Ukraine’s higher education reform aims to support European integration, Ministry says

Ukraine’s higher education reform is guided by the country’s Higher Education Strategy, which outlines priorities through 2032. 

Oleh Sharov, Director General of the Directorate of Higher and Adult Education at Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science, discussed the plan during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“The strategy is designed to ensure that higher education plays a central role in Ukraine’s full integration into Europe,” Sharov said. “These objectives remain highly relevant today and have been expanded to include priorities tied to the war, as well as the restoration and advancement of defense technologies.”
