Ukraine’s Emergency Service says number of points of invincibility remains insufficient
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine says the number of points of invincibility available to support civilians during air raids and power outages remains inadequate.
The agency is expanding the network by adding mobile and tent-based invincibility centers. There are over 6,000 such facilities across the country, of which the State Emergency Service has deployed over 500, with roughly the same number in reserve.
This was announced during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine by Viktor Vitovetskyi, director of the Department for Organization of Civil Protection Measures at the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“We are deploying stationary points of invincibility at our units. We maintain a backup of tent-based points. Of course, the number of points of invincibility operated by the State Emergency Service is not enough to meet the needs of the population. That’s why it is important to involve local authorities, which are setting up additional points at their own facilities,” he said.
