Ukraine’s 3rd Assault Brigade certifies over 500 in UGV systems operations

More than 500 individuals have completed training at the 3rd Assault Brigade’s UGV Operator School since its launch in March 2025.

Viktor “Stark” Pavlov, founder of the UGV Operator School and platoon commander for Unmanned Ground Robotic Systems within the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, shared the update during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“Since the School’s inception, 507 people have gone through the program. These include civilians and military personnel taking the introductory, basic, and professional training courses. The majority are civilians. We only recently began offering this course specifically for military personnel,” Pavlov said.
