Ukraine receives $40 billion in annual aid from the international coalition – Andriy Dubas
Ukraine continues to receive substantial economic support from the international coalition. The country receives about $40 billion annually, which allows it to cover non-defense related expenses.
Andriy Dubas, President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, stated this during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“It is important to note that Ukraine receives economic support from a coalition of foreign states. In fact, every year, Ukraine receives about $40 billion in financial assistance from this coalition. This is a critical lifeline that allows us to cover non-military expenses, as our defense needs are funded through domestic revenues and taxes. Meanwhile, external assistance supports other essential aspects of the country’s functioning – pensions and other non-defense expenditures of the state budget,” Dubas explained.
