Ukraine predicts russian cyberattacks on power grid will not succeed

Since the start of the full-scale war, russia has launched an unprecedented number of cyberattacks against Ukraine’s national grid operator, Ukrenergo. Moreover, the intensity and complexity of the adversary threat actors’ attacks have escalated sharply, with more attacks occurring in just three days than in the previous two years combined.

Yurii Boiko, a member of the Ukrenergo supervisory board, spoke at the Media Center Ukraine, emphasizing the resilience of the company’s cybersecurity systems.

“Ukrenergo has built one of the best cyber defense systems not only in Ukraine but also in Europe. The result of the work of our specialists is that not a single attempt has been successful,” Boiko said.
