Ukraine needs help of mediators to secure humanitarian corridors — I. Vereshchuk

Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk stated during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center that Ukraine needed help of mediators to secure humanitarian corridors.

According to her, it is not possible to organize evacuation from the temporarily occupied territories due to constant violations of the ceasefire agreement by the russians. The russian military is uncontrollably shelling humanitarian convoys, leading to numerous civilian casualties.

At the same time, neither Ukraine nor the international community has any mechanism to bring the occupiers to justice.  That is why international observers are needed to organize evacuations and record crimes of russian troops.
