Ukraine launches mass production of ground robotic systems, current need reaches tens of thousands

During a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine, Viktor “Stark” Pavlov, founder of the UGV Operator School and platoon commander of Unmanned Ground Robotic Systems with the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, revealed critical developments in Ukraine’s unmanned defense capabilities.

“To fully equip all combat brigades with ground robotic systems, we don’t need millions – but tens of thousands of drones annually. Every combat unit must have access to UGVs. The state recognizes this urgency. This year, 10,000 drones are already under contract with domestic manufacturers. These systems will be delivered to brigades with established robotic warfare units,” Pavlov stated.
