Ukraine jumps to 5th globally in digital public services ranking, up 97 spots since 2018

Ukraine has surged to fifth place globally in the development of digital public services, according to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

In just eight years, the country has climbed 97 spots in international digitalization rankings. Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for the Development of the Ecosystem of Digital and Offline Personalized Services, Valeriia Koval, announced the milestone during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine

“In 2018, Ukraine stood at 102nd place, and now it ranks fifth in the world for the level of online services development,” she said.

Koval added that the share of Ukrainians using digital services rose by 4% over the past year.
