Ukraine is in a situation of economic instability comparable to that of 2022 – Kyrylo Kryvolap

During the Kyiv Security Forum, Kyrylo Kryvolap, Executive director of the Center for Economic Recovery, stated that Ukraine is counting on support from Western partners to stabilize its economic situation.

“From the standpoint of economic and financial stability, we are currently facing uncertainty at a level comparable to, if not 2022, then certainly to 2024. There are hopes that our Western partners will support us, and that the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank will be able to sustain the economy, maintain currency balance, and control inflation. However, the situation is alarming, which is why Ukraine must be on the agenda of Europe’s security architecture,” he emphasized.
