Ukraine exports over 18 million tonnes of grain and oil crops through ‘grain corridor’
Since the start of the “grain corridor” (August 1, 2022), Ukraine has exported more than 18 million tonnes of grain and oil crops.
Olga Trofimtseva, Ambassador at Large with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Coordinator of the Exporters and Investors Council, made this statement during a press conference at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.
“In general, over 22 million tonnes of agricultural products have been shipped out since the start of the “grain corridor.” More than 18 million tonnes of grain and oil crops have been delivered,” — she said.
Trofimtseva noted that Ukraine could export much more food if the seaports were working at full capacity.
According to her, every month, Ukraine exports, at best, 60-65% of the volumes of agricultural products that it used to before the start of the full-scale invasion.
