Ukraine is intensifying efforts to identify repatriated defenders through comprehensive examinations, authorities said.
Speaking at the Media Center Ukraine, Anastasiia Shydlovska, Head of the Department of the Office for Missing Persons in Special Circumstances of the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Missing Persons in Special Circumstances of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, emphasized the urgency of the process.

She added that, alongside DNA testing, Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs personnel employ specialized software that can identify defenders using distinctive physical or personal characteristics.
