Ukraine eases access to education abroad for children

Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science has streamlined procedures to make studying abroad more accessible for displaced students, officials announced.

Speaking at the Media Center Ukraine, Nadiia Kuzmychova, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, said the new measures allow students’ academic credit earned abroad to be recognized without additional grade conversions.

“The resolutions developed by the Ministry of Education and Science allow the recognition of children’s achievement abroad without additional exams on conversion scales. Children can study the Ukrainian component remotely or at a center abroad,” Kuzmychova said.
