Turnover of retail chains in Ukraine exceeded the pre-war turnover of the industry by UAH 100 billion – Andrii Zhuk
The turnover of retail chains in Ukraine in 2023 amounted to more than UAH 1.5 trillion, which is UAH 100 billion more than before the full-scale invasion.
This was reported by Andrii Zhuk, co-founder and chairman of the Retail Association of Ukraine, during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.
“The turnover of retail chains in Ukraine has already exceeded UAH 1.5 trillion which is UAH 100 billion more than before the war,” Andrii Zhuk said.
Among the factors contributing to the growth of the retail sector are the increase in sales, the closure of non-systemic retailers, and the growth of the market share of systemic retail.
