According to recent data, trust in vaccination has grown by roughly 15 percent among Ukrainians over the past year. Kenan Madi, the head of humanitarian programs at UNICEF Ukraine, presented these findings during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine.

“82% of the parents and caregivers we interviewed showed a positive attitude (for vaccination – ed.), and this is a very good improvement. The previous result in 2023 was 67%,” Madi said. “Also, 85% of respondents showed confidence in vaccines being effective and safe, compared to 78% in 2023.”

The survey also revealed that although 80% of respondents are aware of the human papillomavirus (HPV), half remain uninformed about its health consequences.
