Travel to Israel not advised at this time – Ukraine’s ambassador to Israel outlines situation

It is currently unadvisable to plan trips to Israel, not so much because of security issues, but due to the cancellation of flights by foreign companies.

Yevgen Korniychuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Israel, made this statement during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“I would like to tell our citizens that it is really unadvisable to plan a trip to Israel now, based not so much on security issues, but due to the complexity of the situation, since most foreign companies have canceled their flights. This is connected to insurance, which not everyone can afford, that is, it makes flights more expensive,” he noted.

At the same time, he indicated how Ukrainian citizens in Israel should act in case of difficulties with leaving the country.

“If our citizens in Israel cannot leave, we advise everyone to buy tickets for Israeli airlines, which fly unhindered, and there should be no problems,” he added.
