Tourist tax revenue had grown by a third last year – State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine

In the first 11 months of 2025, revenue from the tourist tax increased by 35% compared to the same period the previous year. Natalia Tabaka, head of the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine, stated this during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine.

“In 11 months, the tourist tax has generated 340 million UAH. In 2024, that figure was 273 million UAH. The tourism sector contributed nearly 3.5 billion UAH to the state budget,” she said.

According to the new law, revenue from the tourist tax now goes directly to the budgets of local communities and will be used to support the industry.
