“Top 5 Law Firms of the World Help Ukraine Bring Suits against russia for Environmental Damage,” Ministry of Environmental Protection

Ukraine’s Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources works closely with the European Commission; it helps Ukraine become a part of the Live program. This program has been funding environmental projects worldwide for the last 30 years.

Ruslan Strilets, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, stated this during his briefing at Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

“We rely on assistance, for instance, from our Polish colleagues, to become a part of the European community and properly bring our suits before international courts. We’ve captured over 1,500 facts about the damage caused to our lands and ecosystems destroyed. Everything is being recorded and verified. We cooperate with international Top 5 law firms that help us to gather evidence to be able to stand before international courts. We aim to get as much compensation for the damage that russia is causing to the environment,” he said.

Earlier, Ruslan Strilets disclosed that there were 245 events of ecocide within Ukraine’s territory and on the seas.
