Today, every second adult in Ukraine uses digital public services
Today, more than 60% of Ukrainian citizens use digital government services.
This data comes from the report entitled “Public opinion and Ukrainians’ views of state electronic services,” which was presented at Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform.
“More than 60% of Ukrainians, in fact every second adult in Ukraine, can recall using at least one state service within the year. This figure was about the same a year ago, but we have seen steady growth over the past few years. In other words, digital public services are becoming a normal part of life,” said Anton Hrushetskyi, Deputy Director, Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.
He added that among young people, the vast majority use digital public services, while among older people, the usage is around 30%.
“Although, again, older people have their children, friends, relatives who often help them use (digital services – Ed.). That is, this direction, which we can also see developing, and there are clearly positive developments,” he explained.
